  • How many signatures are needed?
    We need 50 signatures from current Alabama Sierra Club members to formally request a general membership meeting.

  • What happens after the petition is completed?
    The ExCom will be required to convene a general membership meeting to discuss the proposed agenda items.

  • Can I sign the petition anonymously?
    Sort of, we will need to share your name and email with the Sierra Club to verify that you are a member of the Sierra Club residing in Alabama, but none of your information will be made public. Aside from that, all signatories will be assumed to be signing anonymously unless indicated otherwise.
